EIM Replacement System
We have developed an UPGRADED replacement panel set which converts your boat to reliable Carling rocker switches.
You basically disconnect the main 24 pin harness plug from your EIM and connect it directly to our matching harness plug that is fed from the new switches. Electrical knowledge is required to insure a successful conversion.
Our kit includes a new 12 port fuse block that is pre-wired to the new panel of switches. You will have to disconnect the main power feed to your old EIM and transfer it to the new fuse block. Instructions are included
It will be necessary to cut some fiberglass for clearance and secure harness wires.
This kit will retrofit 240 Sundeck, 240 Sundancer, 260 Sundancer, 245 Weekender, 250 Amberjack and 270 Sundeck. We have other kits for the 225 weekender, 190 Sundeck, 190 - 230 Bowrider, and all others from 1999 - 2006ish with the Peanut Pad/EIM system. 1718632 1718631

EIMRS TESTIMONIALS:
"Techs usually come in my office to complain about stuff, not to
tell me how well thought out and properly executed someone’s product is. Caught
me off-guard. Thanks for that".

"I just wanted to let you know that the install went well. I
now have working switches again. The install instructions were straight
forward. I had to remove about a 2”x2” from the fiberglass to make the switches
on the right side fit. I also used my previous ignition.
Thank you for all of your help."

I called FP Marine Monday morning and asked questions about
your EIM replacement for my 2003 SeaRay 200BR you gave me all info so I ordered
your system and received it Wed. It looked very professional and included all
hardware and directions. It was about 2hrs to install and worked perfect. I
would recommend your system to any sea ray owner to replace a very bad EMI
system, sea ray should have installed your system to start with. Thanks FP
Marine.

290 Sundancer
Hi Ed , this has been the best replacement I have ever did
on anything! Everything was just plug and play! The only modification I needed
to do is cut bigger hole in the side cavity to push harness through. The new
replacement looks much better then original! Thank you for building this with
such a quality!
Thank you again! Dmitri

Ed,
Recently I purchased and installed myself, the EIM
replacement system for my 2007 Sea Ray 320 Sundancer. I am very pleased with
the quality and looks of the new toggle/rocker switches; what a big improvement
over the original switches. Initially when I saw the new replacement wiring
harness, it looked very complicated but actually turned out to be fairly simple
to install. Everything matched up perfectly, adjustments had to be made to the
dash to make the new switches fit but the templates made that easy. I would
highly recommend this product to anyone who is having trouble with their
switches like I did. Now everything works like it is supposed to and they look
great. Everyone that I spoke to at FP Marine were very helpful with the
questions I had. Thank you so much for developing this product and making my
boating more enjoyable.
Thanks again, Marty
Ed
I have attached several photos of the completed project. The sun
didn't cooperate and I will try to get better shots next week.
Note that the dash is not perfectly flat at these locations so I didn't crank
down on the bottom screws. The plates flex slightly in this installation.
It is a very straight forward installation but takes a little effort due to
access and cutting the holes. You remove the access panel in the storage
area behind the dash to get access to the wiring. Cutting the holes
would probably be best done with a Dremel tool and blade for fiberglass. I used
several different tools. The actual wire harness connections are straight
forward and very easy to complete. It does take a few hours due to the required
hole cutting.
Looks fantastic when complete and works great! Love the back light on the
symbols. I didn't expect that.
On another issue, do you make replacement dash panels for the 220SD. I
could send you my old dash panel as a template. I would need a slight
modification in the standard hole templates since I use 3 large gauges
(standard is 2) and 1 fewer small gauge.
Thanks
Jeff
WE have modified the size of the
panels since this feedback
