Carlingswitch (ON)/OFF single pole V series Contura rocker switch body with raised bracket.

This is a Switch Body Only. Actuators are sold separately.
(ON)/OFF configuration. Momentary ON, normally OFF
Independent green LED lamp in #1 position (top)
Raised Bracket with Contura X actuator prevents accidental activation of the switch.
4 terminal; The two top terminals are the power and ground for the lamp. The two bottom terminals are power in and power out.
An independent lamp has both a positive and negative terminal as opposed to the standard switches that just have a negative terminal. Independent lamps can be lit independently of the actuator position as opposed to standard "dependent" lamps that get their power internally when the actuator moves to the "on" position.
This type of switch with momentary action is used for horns, windshield washers, solenoid activation, starting circuits, etc.Typicaly Sea Ray uses this type of switch as "Battery Energize" switches on the main distribution panel in the cabin. The momentary action activates a solenoid and the green light goes on. When the switch is pressed again, the solenoid is de-activated and the green light goes out.
Also makes a great "START" switch with it's guarded housing.
