Terminals 85, 86, 87, 87a, and 30, typical wiring method is as follows: There are other ways to wire it, but this is the most common.
85 and 86; 85 is ground and 86 is 12v switched power from a remote location. Since this relay has a diode, it is important that the positive and ground are hooked up correctly
87 is battery power (usually a heavier wire)
30 is the output terminal to feed the load
40 amp - 12VDC
